Composer
Jachym Novotny has been close to music since childhood. However, it was not until he was 25 years old that he began to take it up more seriously, when he became a pupil of composer and violist Ondrej Stochl at the Jan Deyl Conservatory. There he studied composition with a focus on contemporary classical music. He went on to play the piano and success came in the form of the award of his composition "To paint a bird’s portrait" by the Association of Czech Artists and Scientists. He has been writing chamber music and his compositions have been performed by Ensemble Terrible and the chamber group Konvergence. He has written for the Music Olomouc festival, or for the Forfest festival of sacred music. His other creative skills are literature, drawing, carving.

Jachym is a graduated graphic designer and composer. In 2024 he successfully passed his graduation with the degree of DiS. at the Jan Deyl Conservatory. However, his specialty is also art, especially drawing, and he is also a literary artist. He writes both poems and prose. His passion is woodcarving, where he experiments with building marionettes.
Puppets
Jachym was brought to carving by his sister Tana. When he entered the conservatory and finally decided to follow the path of art, Tana began attending carving classes with Magdalena Mezl, the daughter of a well-known illustrator and wood engraver. After a while, when she brought her brother Jachym to her, he began to discover a hidden passion for manual work.

"YouTube seemed like the perfect platform for me to share my songs. But it's primarily for sharing videos. So I wanted to combine music and video. Cats
"We've always had a cat in the house, I've been around them since I was a little kid." Cats are Jachym's passion to this day. He is a sincere breeder and lover of these creatures. Not passionate, in his words, but they are part of his home. "They bring such a special comfort to the home, and I like people with cats."

"You have to make a living somehow. That's why I took a job as a clerk and I'm grateful for it. My art world remains free."
