The harpsichord improvisation served as the basis for the composition of the melodrama SLZA (TEAR), which Jáchym wrote on commission for Mosty soudobé hudby (Bridges of Contemporary Music). The harpsichord forms the foundation here, the violin plays in contrast to it, and two singing voices, soprano and alto, complement the ensemble into a single whole. The texts by Vladimír Holan, to whom the evening was dedicated and where this composition was premiered, were recited by a narrator, with the voices complementing him in some verses and even taking over the recitation in others. The improvisation is edited and slightly modified here.
