HARBOUR > WRITINGS

Literature has been Jáchym’s companion since childhood, a journey that began with the rhythmic echoes of folk songs and the classic fairy tales his mother read to him at bedtime. What started as early experiments with short poems on the literary portal Písmák.cz eventually evolved into a profound search for the intersection of word and sound.

Since entering the Conservatory, Jáchym has sought to dissolve the boundaries between literature and music. Whether writing the lyrics for “The Tears of the Water Dragon” or weaving his own verses into musical compositions on YouTube, he views the two arts as inseparable mirrors of each other. His work spans from the structured discipline of blank verse to the atmospheric freedom of prose.

Currently, his imagination is divided between the gentle world of the fairy tale “The Cat and the Bird” and the darker, shadowy corridors of the Jan Deyl Conservatory, the setting for his horror-tinged novella “Lichošlap”.

THE SELECTION

A curated collection of Jáchym’s most defining poems. Here, the word stands alone, yet carries the inherent rhythm of unspoken music.

THE SEVEN GAMES

A cycle of poems and epigrams exploring the playful and sometimes sharp facets of human experience. A literary suite in seven movements.

PROSE

Where the short form expands into narrative. This section is the home of his longer fictions, fairy tales, and the eerie legends of the Odd-Pedaler.

LOGBOOK

A space for fragments, diary entries, and thoughts that defy categorization. The raw, unfiltered notes from the path of Lichošlap.

Secret 4/10

“I love to play with words. It is the ultimate freedom—to be able to weave a verse, build an essay, or simply get lost in the architecture of a great novel.”
