 SAKURA

═════

Literary-musical composition – piano improvisation, some motifs of which were used for the composition Slzy vodního draka (Tears of the Water Dragon) and the author's adapted poem Láska pozdního odpoledne (Late Afternoon Love).

For the piece Sakura, I used a piano improvisation that I recorded during my studies at the Jan Deyl Conservatory in 2013. The music was created completely spontaneously, without preparation, and was recorded without pause on a Yamaha DGX 640 digital piano. I used some motifs from this improvisation when working on the literary-musical composition Slzy vodního draka (Tears of the Water Dragon) for clarinet, piano, and reciter, which you can also listen to here. I also accompanied this composition with my own drawings and animations. I selected the poem Láska pozdního odpoledne (Late Afternoon Love) from my own writings.
